Congratulations to longtime NCAFS member & NC Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) fish biologist/Fisheries Division Chief, Bob Curry, for the receipt of a Governor’s Conservation Award for dedication to protecting and conserving North Carolina’s natural resources!  Bob was named Wildlife Conservationist of the Year.  You can read the full article on the NCWRC website. 

NCWRC Wildlife Officer Robert Newsome was also awarded Wildlife Law Enforcement Officer of the year.  Both were presented the awards by the NC Wildlife Federation at the 51st Annual Governor’s Conservation Achievement Awards Banquet on September 6th, 2014.
