Project Proposal For Member Review

The proposal has been reviewed by the EXCOM, and we are putting it before the membership for a vote at the Annual Meeting in accordance with our Procedures Manual. I apologize that we are a few days shy of the 30 day review period, but the EXCOM members agreed that we do not want you to wait another year for the opportunity to review this exciting project. Here is a brief synopsis from Fred:
Attached is our proposal to expand an existing snorkeling program in the Cherokee National Forest to include the NC waters within the Little Tennessee River basin. Snorkeling events will complement other partnership programs to inform residents of the basin about the diverse and ecologically important resources of the river system. A short documentary film, “A Deeper Creek”, by Freshwaters Illustrated provides an excellent overview of the Cherokee NF program:
